We strive to provide a seamless shopping experience for our customers by connecting them with trusted vendors offering spiritual, devotional, cultural, and general products. Since BrajBazaar.com operates as a multi-vendor marketplace, return, refund, and replacement requests are governed by the terms outlined below.


1. General Policy

BrajBazaar.com is an online marketplace where independent sellers ("Vendors") list and sell products directly to customers. Return, refund, and replacement eligibility may vary depending on the product category and vendor-specific conditions.

By placing an order on BrajBazaar.com, you agree to this Return, Refund & Replacement Policy.


2. Eligible Return Period

Customers may request a return, replacement, or refund within:

  • 7 days from the date of delivery for eligible products.
  • Certain products may have different return windows as specified on the product page.

Requests submitted after the applicable return period may not be accepted.


3. Products Eligible for Return

Returns may be accepted if:

  • The product received is damaged.
  • The product received is defective.
  • The wrong product was delivered.
  • The product is significantly different from the description shown on the website.
  • The item has missing parts or accessories.

The product must be:

  • Unused and unwashed.
  • In original packaging.
  • With all tags, labels, manuals, certificates, and accessories intact.

  • Customized vigrahas
  • Personalized gifts
  • Custom-made temple accessories
  • Printed-on-demand products

Digital Products

  • E-books
  • Downloadable content
  • Online courses
  • Memberships
  • Digital services

Other Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards
  • Clearance sale items
  • Products marked "Non-Returnable" on the product page

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Email the details to support@brajbazaar.com.
  3. Provide:
    • Order number
    • Product photographs
    • Packaging photographs
    • Description of the issue

Failure to report within the prescribed period may result in rejection of the claim.


6. Return Approval Process

After receiving your request:

  • BrajBazaar.com and/or the concerned Vendor will review the claim.
  • Additional information may be requested.
  • Return pickup may be arranged where available.
  • In certain cases, customers may be required to self-ship the product.

Approval or rejection will generally be communicated within 3–7 business days.


7. Replacement Policy

Where applicable, a replacement may be offered instead of a refund.

Replacement requests are subject to:

  • Product availability.
  • Vendor approval.
  • Verification of the reported issue.

If a replacement product is unavailable, a refund may be processed.


8. Refund Policy

Once the returned product is received and inspected:

Approved Refunds

Refunds will be processed through:

  • Original payment method
  • UPI
  • Bank transfer
  • Store credit/wallet credit (where applicable)

Refund Timeline

  • Refund initiation: Within 7 business days after approval.
  • Credit reflection:
    • UPI: 1–5 business days
    • Credit/Debit Cards: 5–10 business days
    • Net Banking: 3–7 business days

Actual timelines may vary depending on banks and payment gateways.


9. Return Shipping Charges

Seller Error

Return shipping charges will be borne by the Vendor if:

  • Wrong product delivered.
  • Damaged product delivered.
  • Defective product delivered.

Customer Preference Returns

If a Vendor allows returns for reasons such as change of mind, the customer may be responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise stated.


10. Order Cancellation

By Customer

Orders may be cancelled before shipment.

Once shipped, cancellation requests may not be accepted and the order shall be governed by the return policy.

By BrajBazaar.com or Vendor

An order may be cancelled due to:

  • Product unavailability.
  • Pricing errors.
  • Fraud prevention checks.
  • Technical issues.
  • Regulatory restrictions.

In such cases, a full refund will be issued.


11. Vendor-Specific Policies

As BrajBazaar.com hosts multiple independent vendors:

  • Certain vendors may offer more favorable return policies.
  • Vendor-specific return conditions will be displayed on the relevant product pages.
  • In case of conflict, the vendor-specific policy shall apply only to that product, provided it complies with applicable law.

While BrajBazaar.com assists in dispute resolution and customer support, product quality, warranties, and seller obligations remain the responsibility of the respective vendor, subject to applicable laws.


14. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights available to consumers under applicable laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
